In the summer of 2007, a small group of friends, who shared a love of hunting and the outdoors, came up with a way to use their passions to give to those in need. Based on the idea that hunters can make a difference in their communities, Hunt4Hunger was established. Hunt4Hunger has since grown to a 501(c)(3) organization that strives to educate others on the importance of hunting safety and conservation, while providing enjoyable activities that ultimately provide benefits to local communities. We are an outlet for men and women of the outdoors to pursue their passion and donate their harvest back to those in need. We also accept non-perishable items that are donated to local Food Banks. We’d like to make a difference in your community, too. If you are interested in starting a local chapter, please contact us.
WHAT WE DO
Annual Hunting Event
The last weekend of extended deer firearm season, Hunt4Hunger sponsors a team hunting competition. The event includes in season game (deer, geese, pheasant, etc) and harvested furs. Meat brought in through the competition is donated to local food banks and money raised from furs goes to local charities. On the last day of the tournament, Hunt4Hunger offers free educational seminars, kids activities, banquet and auction for the hunters and community.
